SamsonDry is a hydrophobic treatment that makes this rope shed water. If you work in the rain, you know how much rope can soak up water, getting heavier and more difficult to handle. SamsonDry cuts the water uptake dramatically, meaning your ropes behave more consistently regardless of the conditions. Samson Dry Technology coating reduces water absorption from 45% of original rope weight (without coating) to 2% with coating.

Voyager fits the sweet spot in the premium V-Series climbing lines from Samson. At 11.8mm, it is larger than Velocity and smaller than Vortex - perfect for the newest climbing devices. Great handling with hardware & prusiks.

Nylon and polyester construction gives the rope low elongation with great abrasion resistance. Voyager can be spliced using a class-1 double braid splicing technique, with an average spliced break strength of 8,000 lbs.
